Conference Semifinals schedule announced

TAMPA, FL -- United Soccer Leagues announced Saturday night the schedule for the two Eastern and Western Conference Semifinals. The conference semifinals are two-leg, aggregate score series. The A-League playoffs begin Wednesday in Portland.
Eastern Conference
- (4) Rochester Raging Rhinos v Montreal Impact (1)
- (3) Syracuse Salty Dogs v Richmond Kickers (2)
Longtime rivals Montreal Impact and Rochester Raging Rhinos will open their series Friday in Rochester at Frontier Field at 7:35 pm ET. The second leg of the aggregate goal series being featured on Fox Sports World with Rochester at Montreal’s Claude Robillard Stadium at 7:00 pm ET.
The second-seeded Richmond Kickers will host the Syracuse Salty Dogs Friday at 7:00 pm ET at University of Richmond Stadium with the second leg at Cortland State University at 5:00 pm ET Sunday.
Western Conference
- (4) Seattle Sounders v Portland Timbers (1)
- (3) Minnesota Thunder v Vancouver Whitecaps (2)
The Portland Timbers will kick the postseason off for the A-League with the opening leg of their series against Northwest rival Seattle Wednesday at PGE Park at 10:00 pm ET. The second leg in Seattle will be Sunday at 8:00 pm ET at Qwest Field (aka Seahawks Stadium).
The second-seeded Vancouver Whitecaps will open their series at home against the Minnesota Thunder Friday at Swangard Stadium at 10:00 pm ET. The second leg will be at James Griffin Stadium in St Paul, Minnesota Sunday at 7:00 pm ET.
